I wanted to e-mail you to sing the praises of Thuy Nguyen! I knew she was excellent at nursing and caring for her patients from working with her when there were post-partum anesthesia issues. When I got to become the patient and had her ask my nurse for both my first and second deliveries, I got to see the true magic of Thuy. She truly takes the best care of her patients at a very critical time in their lives. Sleep-deprived and in pain from delivery and nursing, having someone who can envelop you in a cocoon of caring really makes a huge difference. She does an amazing job coordinating care for both mother and baby, looking out for lactation help needs, and teaching new parents what they need to know, while they have such short abilities to retain information. All while doing that for multiple patients and babies at a time! My first child was delivered in the middle of the pandemic 2020, and even with the N95 and faced with the fear of constant exposure looming, I could tell Thuy was always smiling, with energy abound. Postpartum nursing is a huge job, and somehow, she does it with grace while making it look so easy.

When I found out I was pregnant for the second time, I knew I wanted to schedule my C-section around getting Thuy as my postpartum nurse.

Please recognize her for her amazing work every day. I'm sure the countless patients whose lives she touched are extremely grateful. My husband and I truly are!!
