Jamie was outstanding from the moment she came in to introduce herself. She was always attentive and kept me well-informed which was so important to me as a first-time mom. When it came time to deliver, she was very supportive and helped make the process a lot easier for me. I had a complicated delivery that resulted in an emergency procedure and she reacted so quickly and made me feel comfortable during one of the scariest times of my life. She came to check on me after the procedure which meant the world to me. I cannot thank her enough for being a part of saving my life and cannot think of any nurse more deserving of this award.

Jamie was really patient, kind, and passionate during labor. As a first-time mom, I did not know what to expect going into labor, although I was in a lot of pain, Jamie was really kind and patient, and the whole time she was telling me that everything was going to be ok. Jamie stayed the whole-time time in the room with me from the time she got to her shift until I was ready to be transferred to the postpartum floor. Being an RN myself it felt weird being a patient. Jamie did not make me feel like I was a number or just another patient. She treated me like I was her own family. She was very respectful and stayed professional throughout the whole time I was there. I have no words to thank Jamie. It’s nice to see a nurse like Jamie still exists.
