On behalf of our entire family, we would like to thank all of the physicians, surgeons, nurses, techs, food service, environmental services, ED, and OR teams for the hospitality and care you provided to L during her stay at your hospital.

There was one nurse in particular who went above and beyond in the care of L and her name is Anneke. She is an asset to your hospital. Her warm, comforting, respectful, kind personality lit up L’s room every time she entered. She provided comfort to our family in the non-judgmental spirit of the needs of our daughter. She provided supreme care that went above and beyond her call of duty. She has a beautiful spirit that instantly connected to ours, which made her feel like family instead of our nurse. She was ‘Johnny-on-the-spot’ when it came to tending to L’s needs after her two emergency surgeries earlier that week.

We feel that Anneke is a true DAISY Nurse. She provided us with a sense of confidence and ease in knowing that L was a trooper, was doing her personal best, and was on the right track to recovery. Please bless Anneke with the DAISY Award because if there was one nurse from your staff that deserves it, that would be Anneke. Nurse Anneke has definitely left a footprint in our hearts forever. Anneke, thank you for all you’ve done for L and our family. You made our stay an extremely pleasant and positive one.
