She is genuinely caring, accepting, and supportive towards each of her patients and it is clear from the moment she walks into the room.
I have been in the hospital many times this year, my most recent stay being my longest. I was having a tough time coping with being inpatient again for an extended stay and I had never had Lauren as my nurse before. The moment she walked in she was able to make an instant connection with me. She made me feel cared for, supported and loved and she truly made me feel like I am strong and I can handle all of the battles I face. She took the time to intentionally listen to me and make me feel heard and as if my feelings matter. She used all of the resources available to me to help me feel as comfortable as possible both mentally and physically during my stay. Lauren was able to converse with me and help me process everything going on along with truly feeling joy and helping me in celebrating the little steps I made in the right direction. I had her a few times over the course of my admission and each morning she greeted me with a smile and with her beautiful energy. Lauren is on top of meeting all of her patient's needs, making them feel comfortable with everything going on, and giving them as much control over a situation that normally has limited areas that the patient can control. She is vigilant about checking on all of her patients to make sure that they have everything they need and are as comfortable as possible. She is genuinely caring, accepting, and supportive towards each of her patients and it is clear from the moment she walks into the room. I know my parents were very pleased with the connection and care she gave to me and also her ability to get information as fast as she could and explain it to them and to me in a way that we can both understand clearly. Overall I believe Lauren truly found her calling in nursing and she is one of the very, very, very best I have ever met/had. Any patient of hers is lucky to be taken care of by such an amazing nurse/person!
