All of the nurses were extremely competent of caring during my 3 day stay. However, I found Melinda went above the norm to advocate for my receipt of the MRI results which I had after a CT scan from the ER. Melinda came to me to say the hospitalist had departed without speaking with me. We came up with a plan to have the doctor call my cell. The PT said I was down to go home, which I was not willing to do since not ambulating safely. Melinda delivered the message to the doctor from me and then returned to me quickly to read me the email from the hospitalist. She was very caring, loving, and professional. I was able to order special herbal teas as they made a big effort to have me shower that morning. Very grateful!
