Kristina turned my hospital experience here at NYU Langone from miserable to absolutely outstanding! Things were not going well for me here in terms of treatment and following through with my doctor's prescriptions. When Kristina took over, she managed my hospitalization with efficiency, kindness, professionalism, and humor! To be specific when she arrived at her shift my pain level was nine and within three hours it dropped to two. Kristina checked in on me regularly and made sure that everything I needed was in place. She followed up with physical therapy, and prescriptions, and most importantly she described to me a clear plan for my medication throughout my stay here. Because being a patient in a hospital is a frightening, threatening, unknown experience, it is so important to recognize staff members who understand this intuitively, and immediately address all issues. I will always be grateful to Kristina for all her help and kindness. Furthermore, I commend NYU Langone for hiring such an amazing professional nurse.
