Ashleigh came to work with me for lactation assistance on my day of discharge. She was able to give me answers no other lactation nurse could. She took the time to sit down and work with me. She was the only person to help get my son to latch without pain. She got my husband involved and showed him ways to be helpful in my breastfeeding journey.

Honestly, if it wasn’t for Ashleigh I would have never gone home breastfeeding. She was willing to answer any questions. She was the brightest part of my stay.

I reached out to her recently due to a mastitis diagnosis. Again, I was at another low point and she again gave me hope. She was super helpful! She is such a sweetheart. She treated me with such kindness and empathy. Thanks to her, I was able to get through my mastitis. Her biggest quality is that she really cares. She treated me like family. Rex is very lucky to have her as part of their team. The best part of my discharge day was not taking my newborn home to start my new life as a mom but it was having Ashleigh work with me on breastfeeding.
