My son was airlifted from another hospital. He had gone into cardiac arrest at home and we found out after he got to Carle that he had severe pneumonia in both lungs. He was heavily sedated for a few days. Arvin was the night nurse taking care of him. The attention and care R received from him were beyond anything we could have hoped for. Despite my son’s sedation Arvin washed him up, continued to adjust pillows, gave him a clean gown, and checked on him whether a machine was going off or not. After my son was awake and off sedation Arvin was so good at talking to him and explaining any questions we had. Arvin was excellent at letting us know and understand everything that was happening. He helped my son understand what he needed to do to get better. We were beyond impressed with Arvin and felt so blessed that God sent him to take care of our son. We could never thank him enough for his care and compassion. We will never forget him and the love he showed all of us. He didn’t just take care of our son, he took care of us as well.
