Going into the induction, I was nervous as this was my first child. Every step of the way she ensured me that I was capable of it.
She was an amazing nurse and one of the main reasons I had such an enjoyable and memorable experience. She was the dayshift nurse I had on the day my son was born. I had been induced the night before, so she spent the whole day making sure I was as comfortable as possible. She answered every question and need I had with care and compassion. When my son was born right at shift change, she didn’t hesitate to stay after to ensure I was well taken care of and that I felt okay with everything happening. Going into the induction, I was nervous as this was my first child. Every step of the way she ensured me that I was capable of it. She also provided a lot of compassion and empathy when I had to have two epidurals placed, which I was most nervous about. When it came time to push, she coached me and walked me through what to do. She knew exactly what to say to keep me encouraged to keep going. When my son finally was born, she knew just what to do to get additional help. The next day, she was just as great with helping me learn different things when caring for my son and helping me with postpartum care. She provided the best care I have ever had and I appreciate it tremendously!
