Kay quickly jumped into action to attend to a female visitor that was involved in a domestic situation. Kay intervened verbally and stopped a male from placing the female victim into a vehicle occupied by two other men. Unfortunately, the female visitor did not want to press charges or have the police called and there were no signs of physical abuse. If it wasn't for Kay's quick response to the ER waiting area female restrooms after the visitor pulled the alarm cable inside the restroom it could have possibly been a worse situation. Kay asked if the visitor needed assistance and the visitor stated that she needed help from a male that was with her currently. Kay advocated for the female visitor and called Security for assistance. Kay's quick actions ultimately could have saved this young woman's life and I would like to recognize her.
