Tsehay saw me and gave me a hug and told me everything would be okay. She didn’t just show up to work to do a job, she truly does care.
After being in the PICU for many days and after my son had a large tumor removed from the back of his head, we met Tsehay in one of the most difficult moments. My seven-year-old was suffering from posterior fossa syndrome, he was starving, and in a lot of pain. Tsehay not only comforted him, but she also comforted me (his mom) many times. One afternoon he woke up screaming if we didn’t give him a cookie right that second, he was gonna pull his EVD out. Tsehay noticed a chocolate chip muffin that someone had brought, she quickly grabbed it and said, “Here’s your cookie, eat up!” He scarfed it down so fast, I don’t even think he tasted it, he hadn’t eaten in over a week, he was so hungry. In the meantime, I was just standing there bawling, it hurt my heart so much for him. Tsehay saw me and gave me a hug and told me everything would be okay. She didn’t just show up to work to do a job, she truly does care. She is also very knowledgeable and on top of it when it came to all of my son’s medical needs. We love you! Thank you for everything.
