She ordered him 5x shirt and shorts for his ambulance ride home which would be 15hrs long, so he did not have to wear a hospital gown for the ride and could maintain some modesty.
Bridget cared for a patient, during his stay she advocated for him to ensure his pain was controlled and ensured when he was positioned in his bedside chair, he did not have increased pain. He had an External fixator on his left lower ankle. She took the time to elevate the leg properly and ensured he did not experience pain from positioning. She also went above and beyond advocating for his care but also had compassion for this young man she took it upon herself and ordered him 5x shirt and shorts for his ambulance ride home which would be 15hrs long, so he did not have to wear a hospital gown for the ride and could maintain some modesty. She ensured Amazon delivered on time and when she learned he was leaving before she returned to give him the clothes, she had Amazon change the delivery and delivered it to the closest Amazon store for pick up. She brought them to the hospital on her day off just in time for him to discharge. Bridget truly deserves recognition because she did this just because she cares for her patients and not for recognition, she tried to keep it quiet, so no one knew. She showed such compassion and integrity in caring for this patient and all of her patients every day.
