Ryan is a virtual RN who was able to make a patient’s day. The patient had had many struggles that day and was feeling overwhelmed and defeated. Ryan checked in with him that evening to see how things had gone during the day. The patient vented to Ryan about his day and feeling overwhelmed. The patient shared that he was trying to get a Dr. Pepper from a vending machine and had run into an issue and that not having that small item really topped off his frustrating day. After Ryan’s shift, he went and got the patient a Dr. Pepper and brought it to the patient. The patient was very touched that Ryan would care enough to do that for him on a Friday after a 12-hour shift.
