As first-time parents, my husband and I didn't really know what to expect throughout the day, but she walked us through with such patience and care! Even though that was probably one of the hundreds or maybe even thousands of births that she had been a part of, she made us feel special and informed about our first and did it with such gentleness and kindness. At times, we didn't know what to ask, but she would gladly volunteer information to us that was so beneficial and comforting. I'm also pretty sure that my delivery went through a shift change, but she (along with all of the wonderful nursing team), stayed with us throughout the 2 and a half hours of pushing and after to make sure that I was okay as well as my son. I truly felt cared for by a complete stranger and have spoken and bragged about her to many family members who have asked if I personally knew my nurse. I've laughed and told them that I didn't, but that just shows how gifted and wonderful she is with patient care because I felt like she treated me as she would a friend or family member. I am so appreciative that she was a part of our special day and can't thank her and the entire labor and delivery staff enough for helping us have such a wonderful experience bringing our blessing into the world!
