Cynthia is a very driven individual. She is a mother of 2 boys, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and most importantly a woman of God. She leads by example and by heart. She has a love for growing people and programs. She is always willing to pitch in and help and will always do what is needed to ensure success; the success of people, the success of programs, and the success of anything she touches. She is someone who brings a lot of calm to the crazy at just the right time. So many of us have been blessed in so many ways since she joined our Team at AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in October 2020.

She has been described by her leadership team as the epitome of what an amazing leader is- a forward-thinking, positive, uplifting, role model. She is never afraid to say she doesn’t know what the answer is however she won’t stop until she finds the answer. I love her creative mind when working on projects, you can see the gears rolling in her head. I think this is an amazing opportunity for her and I am so proud that she has been nominated and chosen. Also described as a great leader and an inspirational role model. She truly does live out our mission of “extending the healing ministry of Christ” through each staff member and patient.

Cynthia was described as the perfect choice for the AVP of Nursing position. Her leadership perspective is a breath of fresh air. She has raised the bar and has taken us to new heights. It is because of this that it is no surprise that she was nominated, and recognized as a DAISY Nurse Leader.
