I am an NP student at Upstate and have had this person as a professor throughout my master's program for the past 2 years. She goes above and beyond for her students!! She is kind, compassionate, and empathetic. She is always available whenever I have questions or need help with assignments. In school, I think I can speak for all of us when I say that everyone has test anxiety. This professor spends time calming our nerves and makes us feel confident that we can do anything we put our minds to!! There have been times she has noticed I am stressed or worried and she always stops to make sure that I am okay and helps me talk through everything. One last example is that for our OSCE we have to wear our white coat during the patient encounter. I had left mine at my fiancé's house, which would have been over 3 hours in total to drive to get it. This professor kindly provided me with a white coat to borrow during the exam without question. I am very grateful to have her to look up to as a teacher, leader, and advisor. Dr. Holliday is an amazing person and deserves to be recognized!!
