She was very empathetic and what she said made sense to me and gave me a lot of peace. Lori is a caring and competent nurse.
My mom was in the ICU for two weeks. She was having a hard time eating due to lack of appetite and no energy. Lori, one of my mom's nurses, figured out that by ordering soft easy-to-digest foods, my mom could eat more with less effort. I was grateful that Lori was thinking outside the box. She put a lot of thought into my mom's meal orders. Additionally, when my mom started to indicate that she wanted to opt for Comfort Care instead of continuing to fight what seemed to be a losing battle, Lori helped me emotionally. She was very empathetic and what she said made sense to me and gave me a lot of peace. Lori is a caring and competent nurse. I was grateful to have her take care of my mom (and me) for several days during my mom's two-week stay in ICU and she was with us every minute during my mom's transition from this earthly life. I will always remember how Lori helped me through my mom's illness and death. Thank you, Lori!
