The team as a whole works very well together, and they are always looking out for each other and offering support.
The Behavioral Health Team has recently had several challenging patients, some of whom were on the unit for over a year, and the team worked together very well to ensure that those patients remained safe throughout their time on the unit and were able to be safely discharged.

The team as a whole works very well together, and they are always looking out for each other and offering support. Due to an increase in acuity and 1:1 needs, there was a need for staff to pick up additional hours frequently, and the team consistently worked extra hours in order to make sure the unit was safely staffed. In a recent meeting, several new team members expressed that this team was one of the best they have worked with, and they feel extremely supported by their team members. In one recent incident when an employee was involved in a workplace violence event, multiple team members offered to stay late or pick up shifts for the team member involved so they were able to have the time off that was needed. The team consistently works as one to ensure that the patients receive quality care, while also ensuring their team members are taken care of and supported as much as possible
