I met Alex when I was a returning patient. I had complications from a hole in my colon-diverticulitis, and emergency surgery. Anyways, I had complications and had several procedures done that day. I was very "loopy" and didn't understand what was going on most of the day. She drew a picture on the board to explain what was going on. She was very knowledgeable. She even said she would talk to anyone and explain to them what was going on.

After my last procedure of the day, I told her I was actually hungry so she ordered my food. That is all nice and sweet but she went a step further. I was to go on a cruise on Sunday and I was going to have to cancel. I needed a letter from the hospital saying I couldn't go. She stayed over her time and wrote the letter. This was the 1st trip that I have paid for myself after my divorce and without her letter, I would have lost all the money I saved. Thank you, Alex, from one kidney to the other. I started with the colon and now kidneys. She is very caring and wonderful LPN!
