During my care in the mother and baby unit, Jamie brought an incredible bedside manner, peace and knowledge that goes unmatched. This was my fourth delivery and my fourth daughter brought into the world, but this was the best birth and postpartum care ever received.

Jamie was the angel I needed during my postpartum hemorrhage. She continuously explained what was going on during the code, and what the next steps would be, and provided care exactly as instructed by the physicians to ensure I was on the road to recovery.

I will always remember the way she looked at me when I asked her, “Am I going to be okay?” Her humble confidence, determination to ensure my health would return with her care, and the amount of sheer compassion in her eyes were all I needed to know - that she was caring for me as if I was a member of her family and that I would be okay. She knew it and promised me I would.

I will forever be grateful for Jamie, especially when I think about my fourth birth story. Jamie deserves every recognition possible, and this is my way of demonstrating my complete gratitude for her in one of the most traumatic times in my life.

Jamie, “Thank You” cannot begin to cover all of the emotions and words I want to convey about my time spent in your care, but I pray this nomination shows just how much you left a footprint on all of our hearts. You are cherished beyond words, and we wish you nothing short of an entire career filled with nominations and awards just like this one; for no one is more deserving than you.
