Savannah is extraordinary & extremely compassionate. Our dad/husband was at the end of life, he was 93 years old & has lived a wonderful healthy life. When the nurse came on to care for him the nurse was not only kind & compassionate to our dad but to our mom and family as well. When the nurse did hourly rounding, the nurse checked on all of us. The nurse went out of the way with what some would call "Little stuff" but to us, it was big stuff. Our mom was extremely stressed over the aspect of knowing that our dad's time would not be long. The nurse took the time to understand our mom & her emotions. When the nurse would ask our mom if there was anything the nurse could do for her our mom jokingly said a Diet Coke as only Pepsi items were sold in the cafeteria. Much to our surprise the nurse came back about 15mins later with a Diet Coke!! Savannah treats each patient as if it was a family member and it showed! The kindness & compassion went way above anything we could imagine. When we look back at our time here; the "little things" that this nurse provided for us will be a memory that will make us all smile. Thank you for helping us through this transition- you are one special nurse!
