Tomekia is always very caring and helpful at all of my appointments and any time I talk to her on the phone. Last month, Tomekia called me to let me know I needed to come in and give a urine sample due to abnormal lab results. I told her I would do that the next time I had an appointment, and didn’t feel it was necessary to drive up there just for this sample. Tomekia was persistent and educated me on the importance and why the sample was needed. After making the trip and providing the sample, they saw something concerning and sent me straight for a CT scan. The CT scan did in fact show that I had a 10cm tumor on my kidney. If it hadn’t been for Tomekia's persistence and her caring advice, I would not know that I had kidney cancer. Now I will be having surgery that will fix my problem. Tomekia has taken the time to follow up and check on me after receiving the results. I truly feel like Tomekia has played a large part in saving my life!
