I came with an emergency situation, that resulted in a life-changing procedure. Sarah was my nurse for a few days in a row. She advocated for me and held my hand through many tough moments. If I was in so much pain, I couldn't bear it and it wasn't time for pain medication yet, she would sit with me and distract me from my pain by talking about her animals because she knew it helped me get through these tough moments when time stood still.

She consistently was the reason I was able to maintain such a positive outlook through everything I was going through. I could have easily let this break me as a person however her sunny disposition and "don't quit" attitude were contagious.

I had moments where I felt gross and damaged and without saying anything about my feelings, she was able to read me and always made me feel accepted and just like anyone else. I will never forget her. She changed my life when needed it the most.
