Every time I am working, Sam stops by to check on me and the other float pool nurses. She makes sure we have everything we need and if we don’t, she makes sure to support us in any way she can. This includes helping on the floor, looking into staffing to make changes, finding equipment we might not have at that time…the list goes on. When Sam offers her help, she really means it and often jumps back into a floor nursing role to assist her staff. She takes the time to listen to our concerns and gives us the support and guidance needed when specific issues arise.

We are very grateful for her professionalism and compassion and commitment to St Mary’s. If I ever need anything, she’s always told me she’s a phone call away. Recently she called me to just say thank you for all that I do. Her taking the time out of her day to thank me made my whole week. She is such a supportive and uplifting supervisor.
