In part, the nomination for Mr. Davis describes him as an exceptional leader and provides many qualitative examples of how Mr. Davis and his team have improved many metrics related to Connect Care. His nomination states:

“Walter has created an environment where the attributes of trust, compassion, mutual respect, and continued professional and ethical behavior have inspired and motivated the Connected Care team. He is an exemplary nurse leader. Walter understands the importance to reward the hard work of both the Home Telehealth Nurses and the Telehealth Clinical Technicians.”

A team member states the following: “In all my years of working I have never had such a kind, caring Head Nurse. I feel very supported by him and I trust him completely and accept his kind words of advice/teaching. Even though he is very busy with his daily work he is always available for his team and has made time for me if I had any questions or concerns.”
