Richard Ashmore took control of his care and was hands-on doing all he could to help him through this night.
Our stay in the hospital due to my husband’s hip/femur break was made more positive by Richard Ashmore. This nurse went the extra mile and stayed the course on his assignment until his shift was over and followed through to leave things done on behalf of my husband’s care. We were impressed by his caring manner and skillful method of care. We are very appreciative to have had him as my husband’s nurse for two of the nights.
My husband had surgery on the hip/femur. That night, the nurse assigned was Richard Ashmore. It was the best thing that could’ve happened since my husband was in so much pain plus his condition required being confined to the bed. Richard Ashmore took control of his care and was hands-on doing all he could to help him through this night. Medications were ordered from the hospital pharmacy and pain meds were so necessary. Mr. Ashmore went for them himself after asking the doctor for prescription meds in order to control the pain. We were thankful to have him as the nurse that night.
He again was my husband’s nurse. My husband had not had a bowel movement. The plan to transfer him to rehab made it necessary to induce my husband to have a bowel movement. Richard Ashmore was hands-on and gave him a suppository and picked him off the bed to walk on his walker to the restroom and helped him all the way through it all without hesitation. Thank you so much Richard Ashmore for truly being a caring and helpful nurse. You helped so much.
