Darin has been with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office/Hennepin Healthcare for 23 years. He embodies the HHS Essentials and Values in all that he does. During his tenure, he has exhibited the utmost professionalism. He is the main charge nurse on the evening shift. Darin ensures the unit runs smoothly whether it is during a civil unrest or working on a full moon. Darin has a wealth of knowledge and is always willing to precept new hires and is great with brand new nurses. When there is a less desirable assignment, Darin quietly completes the task. He always does more than what is expected or asked of him, and without complaint. He seeks to create a team environment that is transparent and positive. The security team knows that if they need something, they can count on Darin! He has an innate ability to calm the most disorganized patients while providing compassionate care.
