Judy constantly demonstrates C-CARE. One of our patients who has been here for a month recognized Judy walking down the hall and called Judy over. She remembered Judy because Judy, without fail, would clean this patient, get her out of bed, and sitting in a chair, without fail, even though this patient was so frail and weak. She personally wanted to thank Judy for her dedication and care. Another time, a patient was dying of cancer. Judy constantly advocated for the patient to receive orders for his pain to be alleviated. The next day, the family thanked Judy for treating his pain so he could pass with dignity.
