At age 65, this is my first time in a hospital as a patient. This nurse’s smile (even seen under her mask via her eyes) and pleasant personality and her sincere interest in my care and comfort, put me at ease. During her shifts, she checks in often and is always upbeat. Alla makes a big difference in a scary time for patients; it’s all in the attention to detail. She makes sure blankets are available, chairs are easy to get to, the phone is easy to reach and all the IV leads are in place. She is the definition of the DAISY recognition program. I pray she receives this honor!

Alla is a beautiful and amazing human! Her spirit heals! She is so thoughtful and she has encouraged me so much! I feel blessed to have had her take care of me. Her light brightened the room.

Her voice nurtured to understand.
She cares and provides
With compassion upon her hand.

Eyes that see needs unknown
