Ms. Khemmy is special and all the staff made me feel like family. I came in for hip replacement surgery. I was in a very dark place. I was depressed and going through my own personal problems. After I came out of the recovery room I was brought to the stroke unit where they had an available bed. I was just placed here and the nurses on the unit had no idea I was in the room until I called for a nurse. That is when I meet the most considerate woman. I know Ms Khemmy and I got off to a rough start but we apologized to each and were like family from there on in. I shared my problems with her she was totally concerned and gave me good advice. Well, the next day was my birthday and this was one of the best I have ever had. I had cake unexpectedly from Ms. Khemmy and balloons and roses. I had already had a cake from the nutrition department. I cried I was so overjoyed. They showed me so much love, it was unreal. They made my day special and I came up with a plan for my return to my situation. I have the support I needed right here in this Hospital. They made me feel great.

Khemmy was the best. My sister had emergency gallbladder surgery and Khemmy was her nurse the night before and the night she had surgery. She was so caring and compassionate, very very knowledgeable explained everything. She went above and beyond on her duties by telling my sister she could call anytime if you have pain, feel scared, or anything. She made me feel so safe that I did not need to stay with my sister. I knew she was in good hands with Khemmy. She checked in on my sister and treated her with so much love and respect. Khemmy should receive this award and much more. It is hard to find people that really enjoy taking care of others in today's world. Most people are self-absorbed not Khemmy! She is the best
