Brittney is one of the most caring and compassionate human beings I have ever met, no challenge is ever too great for her to take on. She is the epitome of a DAISY Nurse. She is skillful in her practice and demonstrates compassion, collaboration, and clinical excellence for her patients. She is so good at showing compassion and empathy for those struggling with addiction and never casts a bit of judgement. She is always kind to her patients and coworkers, and so pleasant to work with. In fact, she works best when being challenged. Brittney is extremely dedicated to the Addiction Medicine Clinic; her priority is always providing excellent patient care. She is constantly looking for ways to improve workflows, change a process, or consider alternatives to make a better patient experience and/or benefit the department. She is an excellent team player- and the addiction knowledge she brings to this population is so valuable. I am so grateful to have a nurse like Brittney working in our department. I can’t possibly put into words how valuable she is to the team. She sets forth an amazing example of true compassion, dedication, commitment, and kindness. She is always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done and get it done right.
