I have the honor of working with Jessica through my role as a CentraCare Hospice Nurse that makes frequent visits to the Sauk Centre Care Center. Jessica is the Nurse Manager within this facility who leads, guides, and encourages everyone she is in contact with. Part of my job consists of collaboration with nurse leaders within facilities in which we serve, with Jessica being one of the leaders. Time and time again, I have witnessed Jessica shine in her gifts as a nurse leader through her astounding ability to teach and guide teams. Jessica shares these gifts with her team, patients, families, and visiting staff like myself. You know that when Jessica is working that you will be greeted with courtesy, kindness, compassion, and grace. You walk away feeling better with a spark of encouragement that lights a fire inside of you to continue reaching for greatness. Jessica is a leader who radiates light and healing through her work of leadership and CentraCare is blessed to have her. I do not have just one story that stands out because Jessica consistently demonstrates all these qualities everywhere she goes. These qualities are part of who she is and what makes her significant and worthy of this recognition.
