Jenna is our first DAISY Award recipient. She was nominated by family members of two different patients and one of her coworkers. One family member said, "Thank you for making my husband and I feel like family. When it was time to leave (visiting hours were over) and we live 1.5 hours away, she allowed me to stay here and brought in a chair/bed. Your bedside manner is AMAZING! The way you talk to people and the big caring heart you have, I can't thank you enough. Again, our experience with you was one we won't forget."

The other family member said, "Jenna was very responsive to any requests from my husband and me. She had a great sense of humor and made a difficult situation easier to deal with."

Her co-worker wrote, "Jenna has been a true leader and constant calm in the storm of opening a new hospital. She is a very caring nurse and human being. She is flexible and always willing to help and change he schedule to accommodate staffing needs. It has been a pleasure and honor to work with her."
