Dawn spends her time primarily in the community with the clients. She has been known to go out of her way to ensure that clients remember appointments, understand their medications, and help them connect with community resources that aid them to live life to the fullest possible within their capabilities. She is a lifelong learner who not only works hard to keep herself up to date on the most recent changes in nursing related to Mental Health and caring for clients, she goes out of her way to ensure that both her clients, as well as other staff members, are knowledgeable about the best practices of nursing.

Dawn functions frequently as the lead person in the nursing department ensuring that all other staff including nurses are functioning together for the better of the clients we serve. Even after Dawn has put in a full day's work she has been known to go beyond anything required to ensure that the clients attain the quality of life they deserve. By assisting clients to remember appointments, by writing them on the calendar, even calling them to remind them; other example includes when she helps them set up reminders to take medications, etc. Dawn empowers people to overcome challenges to achieve their highest level of independence.
