She is so amazing and caring. Her professionalism and knowledge of her job is recognized.
I wanted to express my gratitude and thank my two nurses that cared for me while I recovered from my shoulder surgery. I have never had care like I had from Mary and Alexis when I came out of recovery. Mary made sure I had all the things I needed. I never had to ask for water, a cover or anything she thought I would need to help make me comfortable. Mary was in and out of my room constantly checking on me to make sure all my vital signs were perfect. She was the best nursing care I have ever had in my 70 years of in and out of the hospitals. Then Mary had to leave, and I thought the great service would be over----wrong. Alexis Newton came and picked up where Mary left off. Same great service and such a great attitude that showed she loved her job just as much as Mary. She made sure I had cold water, diet coke, and snacks to eat. Alexis even changed my bed covers because I spilled some water on the top blanket. I told her no problem not to change them, but she informed me that I could not and would not sleep like that. These two ladies were great, and I thank God I had them both the night I was in the hospital. For the time I was in my room until the time I left they were the BEST!!! I am a 75-year-old patient that needed revision knee surgery. The environment created by the medical staff was welcoming and pleasant during my entire stay. I want to specifically acknowledge one of my nurses, Alexis. She is so amazing and caring. Her professionalism and knowledge of her job is recognized. She compliments and encourages me. She has been at my beck and call. She is attentive and communicates in a calm manner. Alexis is graced to care for hurting patients. She has a calm and soothing demeanor. I am so thankful she is my nurse. I want to acknowledge her service and hope that she is recognized for what she does on a daily basis. Alexis heated the water for my coffee. She brought me fresh towels and a gown. I was comforted with 4 blankets. My drain pack fell and busted. She did not become upset. She assured me it was okay. She reinserted it, cleaned up the area, and made everything okay. She encourages me and tells me that I am strong and doing well. Her words of affirmation have helped me along with my recuperation. I believe her support, grace, encouragement, and caring person will elevate the quality of life for anyone. May God continue to bless Alexis.
