From the time I was admitted to St. Lukes and I met Sarah Jo, she was awesome including her welcome to the floor and all the time she took care of me for my first 3 days here. I was very uncomfortable. She has compassion for the patients she is taking care of. She makes the atmosphere so home-like and caring. She can be very professional but still care. Her bedside manner is perfect. Because of Sarah Jo, my nerves were put at ease. She has so much kindness. Sarah Jo was kind, caring, and above them all. She works so hard and we greatly appreciate it all. Even when her shift was over, she made sure to tell us goodbye and she would see us the next evening. Sarah Jo has communication skills, she would tell us everything that was going on with me. She was able to joke professionally but still be a nurse. There need to be more nurses and even humans like her. We are so happy she was brought into our life during this experience. Never stop being who you are! Thank you!
