I’m not even sure where to start. The level of care my daughter has received is phenomenal. When we arrived at Saints my daughter was non-verbal and was essentially paralyzed from the neck down. She took so much time with my daughter. She explained everything she came in to do. I was so scared of everything that was happening. She took extra time to explain everything that was going on. On day two when no doctors or procedures were scheduled, she took care of all of her patients and then got busy on the phone/email to get things scheduled. When one of the doctors didn’t seem to have time for my child, Wesley went upstairs and asked for help from others to get a Zoom call started. The phone and iPad were not what was needed with the internet, she continued to push on. The Zoom call took an act of God to set up. She stayed after her shift to make sure my girl got her pain meds on time. I didn’t understand some of the things that were happening. She sat down and in language I understood, she explained it all. She always has a smile on her face. My daughter always felt safe and cared for. We are thanking God for a nurse like Wesley. I have a very large family that asked a lot of questions. Wesley was patient and understanding. I would consider Wesley a part of our family. She has a heart like nothing I have ever seen. She will always hold a dear spot in our hearts.
