Natali was walking into All Saints from the parking lot. While walking into the building she heard a shout from the bus stop in front of the building requesting help. Other associates were walking into the building but didn’t hear the man yelling for help. Natali rushed over to the bus stop to find a gentleman unresponsive on the bench. She immediately felt for a pulse, and when she couldn’t find one, initiated CPR right away at the bus stop. She continued CPR until other assistance from the ED arrived, being the only one to do compressions for quite some time. After the patient was moved to the ED, Natali went up to her unit to start her shift. This truly is a testament to the person and nurse that Natali is. She is constantly helping others, her peers, patients, family, and friends. She was not “on duty” at the time that this patient needed her, but she did not hesitate to respond. She is selfless and always puts others’ needs before her own. We are so very lucky to have her as part of our team and she is very much a DAISY Nurse.
