She’s so caring and thoughtful. She fully advocated for my husband when I wasn’t there and made sure he received the best care. Out of all the many above-and-beyond things she did, the one thing that I’ll remember forever was my husband has missed lunch due to being NPO for a procedure that didn’t happen and on that day's menu was his favorite hospital food: chicken and dumplings. Well, when he was finally cleared to eat and they brought a tray, no chicken and dumplings. He was very disappointed, he doesn’t have much of an appetite and he’s a bit picky and he had his heart set on it. By God, this wonderful woman called her MAMA up and got her to make some homemade chicken and dumplings and brought in a mess of it the next day. My husband ate more than I’d seen him eat in months and he was fat and happy with a full belly. Out of all the facilities he’s been in the past six months and we’ve had some excellent nurses along the way, no one has delivered such acts of kindness as Becky has. She’s an excellent nurse and she’s a wonderful human being.
