After seeing you yesterday I knew I had to finally write this card. You were my son, A's nurse a couple of times in 2021. Your porcelain skin, long dark hair, and beautiful face were unforgettable but you're truly a beautiful person inside and out. When I brought A in you were sweet, caring, compassionate, and generally sincere. You didn't know this at the time, but I was actually pregnant, pretty emotional, and anxious he was sick. I was experiencing a tough pregnancy and taking him to the ER was added stress. I will never forget you telling me while discussing what I was doing for his fever “You're doing everything right Mom; I would have done the same”. I still have the bear you gave him! Your name has gone down in his baby book for one of his first ER visits. I'm embarrassed that I never mailed a note sooner letting you know how much I appreciate you. You went above and beyond. I will never forget those visits. Years have passed and I still remember everything that happened as if it was yesterday because you are a great nurse. You were doing “your job” but I could tell you really cared. Not to be dramatic or anything as A was not on the verge of death, but it is scary to bring your baby to the hospital. Thank you for never making me feel stupid, always checking in, informing me what was happening, and getting us out of there quickly! You definitely selected the right career. I know you make a difference every day in people's lives. Your hard work and excellent care are what make Placentia-Linda. I come back because of nurses like you. I'm glad I still have the opportunity to thank you for 2021!
