Aimee has been instrumental in keeping our NICU running smoothly through some of our busiest times. She is quick to jump in any way she can whether it's answering phones, staffing, or equipment, She is quick to follow through and is efficient. I feel truly supported by her leadership. She values her team and makes sure they receive the recognition they deserve. She makes the NICU a better place to work! Thank you, Aimee! Aimee has been great at giving us autonomy on the weekends. She trusts our judgment in every way. She is a great model of unwavering support for all of us. When she is in the unit, she will always ask what she can do to be of service, we will often pull her into the crisis. We couldn’t do it without her! On the weekends when she is not physically present in the hospital, she will call to check on us, and ask what she can do to support us or if we need anything. Recently after receiving quarterly check-ins, she gathered the information and immediately advocated for our staff, by directing our complaints to the appropriate people, and was able to help put our minds at ease, validating our feelings, and helping us to make some much-needed changes. We have seen a lot of improvements since she stepped in as our leader and it is comforting to know we always have someone on our side! Aimee has created a good team environment between NICU, Core, and MIU. She has worked hard to bring the units together and improve communication. The work environment has improved so much since Aimee had become the manager of the units, she is very approachable and supportive of their needs. She has been working hard to open 2 new units, which is no easy task, she is working on a larger 24 bed MIU, and a 14 bed single room NICU, we are grateful to have Aimee as the Director!
