My 86-year-old dad came in with a fractured hip. Due to the fall and surgical procedures, Dad's normal level of dementia was off the charts. We had great nurses during his stay, however; it was Anne's calming nature that made all the difference. She encouraged him each step of the way and made sure he was always as comfortable as he could be. Anne's encouragement not only helped my dad, but also helped my brother and me. We are definitely out of our element with all of this. Rather than call a nurse aide or someone else, Anne took the time to feed Dad, clean him up, or make him feel better by just talking to him. Her care was excellent every time she came in.
