Cindy was the nurse that came on when my induction process started. She promised she would take amazing care of me at the beginning of my shit and she did just that. I was super nervous because the doctor told me there was a chance I would have to have a C-section because I had Oligohydramnios and the cord was next to the baby's head. She said that she would do an ultrasound when it came time to break my water and hopefully, the cord would move otherwise we would have to go in for a C-section.

Cindy calmed me down and tried to make me the most comfortable I could be. She assured me, either way, everything was going to be all right and she would be there every step of the way. Cindy made sure my pain was under control and made sure I was changing positions throughout the day to progress the induction. She made sure to keep the doctor informed of any changes and was increasing my Pitocin to move the induction along.

Cindy made sure to check on me often and make sure my husband and mother had everything that they needed as well. My mother still raves at how great of a nurse she was and said she deserved an award. I would recommend to everyone that is going to have a baby to come to Mercy and request Cindy as their nurse for excellent care.

She is a hard worker and driven to get her job done on every shift no matter her patient load. She is a joy to work with. We couldn’t be any happier and/or appreciative of the great care we received while at CHI Health Labor and Delivery.  All the staff were amazing.  Cindy was our nurse the first day we got there for induction and was with us till shortly before delivery.  We were so impressed and thankful for the great care she gave us.  She was extremely supportive, respectful, approachable, caring, and helpful!  We felt so respected and heard by her.  We were able to have conversations with her about anything and everything and that alone made the experience so much better.  Cindy is an amazing nurse and CHI is very lucky to have her!!
