Amber will forever hold a special place in my heart. As a first-time mom rushed into labor - Amber made my experience memorable and noteworthy. From our first 12 hours, Amber stood by my side and offered endless support and encouragement during a really stressful and unknown time. She checked on me every 15 minutes because she knew I couldn’t sleep and would spend time having meaningful conversations when she was able. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the moment she checked in as our nurse. So much so my husband said, “She really cares about her patients.”

Fast forward to an emergency c-section the following day. Amber even came in early to help be a part of our special moment and to assure me that everything was okay. During our delivery, she talked me through the entire process and was never more than a few steps away. There’s something to be said about her compassion and commitment to patient care - she really shined bright. As she was not our assigned nurse she couldn’t follow us to recovery, she still came and checked on us all throughout the night. Offering endless support, tips, and just a listening ear. She truly made our crazy delivery an amazing experience. I will never forget the impact she made on my husband and me during our journey into parenthood. We are forever grateful for all she did for us. Amber is a wonderful nurse and Memorial Health is beyond lucky to have her.
