As soon as I was admitted to the 8th floor, I met RN, Lori O’Neil. She was so compassionate and nice. I was brought in with 30 lbs. of fluid retention, CHF, COPD, during my twelve day-stay, I ended up with influenza and a collapsed lung. She was and went beyond taking care of me as she was busy with other patients on the 8th floor.

I nominate Lori as she is an EXTRAORDINARY Nurse. Her care made my stay a better experience with her committed care nursing abilities. My son was very impressed each time when she came in to talk with us and to the doctors of my care. Lori deserves this award for the skilled compassionate care a nurse could provide. I needed a lot of care and she was there for me here at Marshfield Medical Center which has made this hospital stand out with her compassionate care. One night when I was in excruciating pain in the arm and thinking I was having a stroke, she got the doctor to come in and see me immediately taking the fear away from me like an angel in a light!

Please recognize this nurse Lori for this award, it has been a long 12 days and she has made my stay of recovery comfortable and ready to go home for Christmas! Thank you, Lori, you are the BEST!
