Our 4-month-old son just had surgery and we were transferred to the floor the next day. Sydney greeted us and made sure we were in the absolute best care. She talked to our son cheer him on even got pooped on and didn't complain. We had issues with the night nurse, but she made sure when she came in the next more our concerns were actually HEARD and she acknowledged them and made sure they were addressed with the doctors instead of blowing us off. She was there if our son or we needed anything including just someone to talk to. We felt comfortable leaving the unit to get food and run home to grab some things with her watching our son we didn't even 2nd guess ourselves. We came back and our son was comfortable and sleeping she told us she gave him meds adjusted him talked to him and even started playing his music so he could sleep. Sydney is definitely one of the best and you can tell she loves her job and working with all of the little patients.
