Day nurses work just as hard as night nurses, but night nurses have a much greater impact on the psyche of a patient--- at least for me! Once visitors have left, we as patients often feel helpless and reliant on the RNs and CNAs to do everything for us. Having Emily as my night nurse for multiple nights was a dream come true. She is extremely organized and efficient--- always finding enough time for me despite having too many patients and never acting rushed. But more so, she is kind, funny, and compassionate—making me feel recognized and helping me through some major medical challenges without any drama or fear. Thank you!
