Teresa always delivers excellent, patient-centred care that prioritises both the children’s needs and the family as a whole. I have had the pleasure and privilege to have learned from Teresa as a student nurse and to have worked alongside her for many years.

Most recently Teresa acted above and beyond and made a huge difference to both the care and experience that my daughter received when she was a patient with a fractured arm. She kept us both informed, reassured, and ensured that we were seen in a timely manner considering that my daughter was in a huge amount of pain. Teresa ensured that my daughter was seen by the appropriate specialists even when she had been advised to manipulate my daughter's fracture. In doing so she acted as her advocate and ensured that it was performed by the correct team. This meant that we avoided an operation.

Being the parent when you are a nurse can sometimes mean that you are treated differently, but Teresa was so kind and reassuring towards me as well, and in turn, earned my daughter's trust, it also ensured that I was able to remain calm. I want to say the biggest thank you to a wonderful, thoughtful, loyal, and amazing nurse. We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and have done.
