I was diagnosed with tonsil cancer. Once I was diagnosed, Nurse Sarah introduced herself to me as my nurse advocate. From that day forward, Nurse Sarah has proven herself many times over, going above and beyond. Through my major surgery, she has made it a point to be by my side with an outpouring of compassion, empathy, and concern, and with the knowledge to answer any questions or concerns of which there were many. Nurse Sarah has been there for me each and every time when I needed moral and emotional support in her kind and caring way. As my treatment continues to this day, Nurse Sarah is always there for me even if it's just a phone call, she is my guiding light and my guardian angel!
