This supervisor makes sure I have a nurse to do my wound all the time. I have been in this agency for years and she communicates with me on what to do when I have insurance problems and how to continue with the program. My wound is always clean and no infection whatsoever. She is my go-to person in this agency, she is reliable and respectful.

Integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence are benchmarks for guiding nurse leaders. Ms. Angela Whyte, inarguably, exudes these values in spades. Some leaders know how to manage administrative tasks well while others manage people well, Ms. Whyte skillfully does both well with unmatched competence. I was especially moved by her response to our staff during the COVID-19 health crisis, she consistently prioritized safety for both our patients and her nurses. While she can be relied on as an invaluable resource in providing patient-centered care including supporting patient goals, I am particularly appreciative of her ability and willingness to "check in" with her staff.
